Assessed in a comparative blind tasting of 14 red icewines at the 2019 Ontario Wine Awards. This was our sole GOLD medal winner! Bright medium red colour. Very attractive, sweet, spicy, vibrant, honeyed, ripe, raspberry-tinged, red and black cherry purée nose. Sweet but balanced, medium bodied, harmonious, spicy, honeyed, ripe strawberry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, bright, refreshing finish. Very tasty and ready-to-drink.
