Sakemirai was the sole propriety of Takagi Shuzo until they released the right to us it to other sake breweries in 2010.
First aromas of the sake are full of sweet melon. It opens up to reveal banana, Fuji apple & ripe pears. The initial lush & rich mouthfeel develops to a light & charming flavour to be paired with hotpot, boiled food or seafood dishes. Salt grilled dishes are also a good choice.
Produced only every 6 months with only 2,000 bottles, this is indeed a very rare & precious sake.
